This painting "Jazz Trio: Bass" was taken from The Marmara Pera 19.01.2006 and the incident captured on the hotel CCTV system. The couple responsible were later apprehended and a court appearance was due. On Saturday 29/04/2006 the painting was found in a plastic bag in the street outside the hotel by one of the hotel security staff. Since this painting was stolen, NPP imagery has been supplied for the walls of the newly decorated Beyoglu Police Station and an Ataturk portrait presented by NPP to Istanbul Police HQ.
